Canon ES-65B Lens Hood for Canon RF 50mm F1.8

Snagged this hood for the RF 50mm and it clicks on with that satisfying, precise rotation Canon is known for. The way it deflects stray light is noticeable—shooting into the sun, the contrast stays punchy without any ghosting. It’s a small addition that just makes the lens feel complete.

This little hood mounts perfectly onto the RF 50mm f1.8 with no wobble, and I’ve noticed a real drop in lens flare during golden hour shots. It’s a simple plastic piece that does exactly what it should.

I was getting some weird flares shooting into bright lights, but this hood blocks the stray light perfectly and the bayonet mount clicks on tight.
