Kaiser 35mm Film Leader Retriever

Finally got my film out of a stuck canister in under a minute with this retriever. The fixed and sliding tongue design grips the leader perfectly on the first try.

I was worried about ruining a roll I accidentally rewound, but the sliding tongue mechanism grabbed the leader on the first try. It’s a simple plastic tool that does exactly what it’s supposed to.

This little plastic retriever worked perfectly on my first try—the sliding tongue grabbed the film leader in seconds. I was worried I’d ruin the roll, but the fixed and sliding tongues made it super easy to slide into the cartridge. Exactly what I needed to salvage that forgotten film.
