LumoPro ガファーテープ

Used this to secure a backdrop on a windy outdoor shoot and it held perfectly all day without any residue when I peeled it off. The waterproof backing also came in handy when a sudden drizzle hit.

The matte finish on this tape is a lifesaver—no glare bouncing off the floor during a studio shoot, and it still tears cleanly by hand. It’s held down a few heavy cables all day without curling at the edges, which is more than I can say for duct tape.

I've used a lot of tape over the years, and this one's tensile strength is what really stands out—it holds cables down firmly even on a busy stage floor. It also peels off cleanly without leaving that sticky residue behind, which is a huge win for quick strike setups.
