Canon RF 45mm f/1.2 STM Lens

The Canon RF 45mm f/1.2 STM is a compact, lightweight, and affordable prime lens designed for creators who want professional image quality without the bulk. With an exceptionally fast f/1.2 aperture and a versatile 45mm focal length, this lens delivers stunning subject separation, creamy bokeh, and brilliant low-light performance—making it an ideal choice for portraits, lifestyle photography, street scenes, and studio work.

Brilliant Optical Performance

Engineered for Canon’s full-frame RF-mount mirrorless cameras, the RF 45mm f/1.2 STM combines high-quality optics with everyday usability.

• Bright f/1.2 maximum aperture enables superior depth-of-field control and allows you to shoot confidently in low-light environments.

• A precision-molded (PMo) aspherical element effectively reduces spherical aberrations and distortion, maintaining edge-to-edge sharpness and clarity.

• The 45mm focal length provides a natural perspective—wide enough for environmental portraits yet tight enough to isolate subjects with beautiful background blur.

Smooth, Quiet Autofocus for Photo and Video

The STM (Stepping Motor) ensures fast, accurate, and silent autofocus performance, perfect for both stills and video. Its full-time manual focus override gives you the flexibility to make subtle adjustments even when AF is engaged, offering total creative control in every scenario.

Lightweight, Versatile, and Creative

Compact enough for daily carry yet powerful enough for professional results, the RF 45mm f/1.2 STM balances perfectly on Canon’s mirrorless bodies. It’s the ultimate “walkaround” prime lens—equally at home capturing candid street moments, dreamy lifestyle portraits, or cinematic video content.

Its ultra-wide aperture produces exquisite bokeh and dramatic focus falloff, helping subjects stand out beautifully against soft, glowing backgrounds.
