USED Pentax 50mm f/2 (#4248748CM)

The focus ring is smooth and precise, making manual focusing a joy on my old K1000. I was surprised how sharp this 50mm f/2 is wide open for a used lens—definitely worth the price for film shooters.

Glass is clean, no haze, and the aperture ring clicks through all the stops with satisfying precision. I’ve been using it on my K1000 for street shots and the f/2 sharpness at the center is exactly what I wanted. For a used lens at this price, it feels like a steal.

Shot a roll of Ilford HP5 with this lens and the contrast is fantastic—sharp even wide open. For a used f/2 fifty, the glass is surprisingly clean with barely any dust.
