Westcott Lightstand 8' [Black]

The twist locks tighten down firmly with no slipping, and the whole thing collapses to a size that barely takes up room in my camera bag. For an 8-footer it’s surprisingly easy to carry around all day, which is exactly what I needed for shooting on location.

Setup was quick and the aluminum build feels sturdy without being heavy. Packed it in my carry-on for a shoot last week and the twist locks held solid all day.

The twist locks are smooth and grip tight, so my small LED panel stays perfectly level even at full extension. It folds down short enough to stash in a duffel bag—exactly what I needed for location shoots.
